Currencies are exchanged from account to account and within the respective modules (DNA’s). For example currency A is only ever exchanged within the currency A module. Currency B is only ever traded within the currency B module. People who want to trade currency A and currency B must install both modules in their account. The order book tells DEX the type and value of each currency. DEX is then able to match buyers with sellers so that the currencies can be transferred within their respective modules.
Desired currency modules are installed into your account (Your HoloDEX)
- The module is added to your order book and made available for trading
- Each currency module is its own DNA and as such can only communicate with the same module in other accounts
- Transactions are the debits and credits within currency modules and not between different currency modules
